This series explores how conflict can persist beyond direct experience—echoing through memory, the body, and cultural symbols. Centered on Liputa, a vibrant patterned fabric worn across Central and West Africa, the work approaches the textile as a living archive shaped by histories of rupture, resilience, and survival.

Rather than depicting violence or displacement directly, the series reflects how such forces are absorbed and carried forward. Through movement, gesture, and motion blur, the images inhabit states of instability and transition, mirroring the fragmented nature of inherited memory and the quiet tensions that emerge when identity is shaped by histories one did not witness, yet deeply feels.
